This is the day that the Lord has made!

Today held and wide variety of activities. We began with church service that included vibrant worship time. Dozens of locals and many children, came to camp macaca. Afterwords, we enjoyed some time playing games to interact with kids. It was precious to see your kids ministering to younger kids.

After a hearty lunch, those who chose the challenge of the infamous BLACTOP, walked over to an undisclosed location. No visitors were allowed. (Except other leaders)

Let's see, how can I best describe this? The lead pastor here, John, is affiliated with the Belizian military. He developed a one hour activity that was designed to stretch participants physically, and mentally. Let's just say that it accomplish that goal! Amazingly, everyone of our team members chose to do this challenge. Everyone of them completed it as well!

The group was split into two. Then, they were to carry the tire around the field. God mercifully brought a thunderstorm right during our blacktop challenge. I think it made for a more dramatic effect!

The event included a mixture of cardio, and strength training. In the end, the kids said that to finish it was 80% mental.

Trust me, this was at the beginning of the exercise. There were fewer smiles as time went on.

The kids returned to camp and literally began playing volleyball and basketball as if they were not completely exhausted by the previous events. We finish the day with another worship time and then tried to get the kids to sleep before midnight. (let's just say, that didn't quite work out as planned.😵‍💫)
